Harpoon a Fish How to Catch Sea Monsters: Prepare the Attempt
How to Catch Sea Monsters
- Answer: Use weight progression to reach deeper water when access is the obstacle.
- Use it: Arrange the harpoons you can equip, then aim, fire and finish the timed pull.
- Next step: Check the completed result before assigning the fish to a collection or aquarium goal.
Prepare for the creature you can reach
Start by choosing a target within your current dive access. Harpoon a Fish connects a heavier character with deeper sinking and new sea-monster discovery. If the creature you want is beyond that reach, work on character growth at the Mukbang table before making equipment the answer to the access problem.
Give the trip one concrete goal. You might want a new index entry or a pet to grow, rather than simply the largest creature available. A clear reason for the attempt helps you decide whether to stay with that target when another fish or a rival draws your attention.
Bring the active set into the ordinary capture sequence
Organize the harpoons you can field before diving. Equipment slots and Equip Best help put owned tools into the set you actually use. Keep a possible crate acquisition separate from a weapon already available to equip.
Once the target is in reach, aim and fire, then time the reels to pull it in. A connected harpoon is the beginning of the attempt, rather than a completed monster catch. Stay with the active pull long enough to see the result. That is the action the developer gives you for turning a shot into a landed fish.
| Stage | Useful action |
|---|---|
| Before the dive | Choose a reachable target and arrange the active set. |
| During the attempt | Aim, fire and stay with the timed reel. |
| After landing it | Give the fish a collection or aquarium role. |
Choose how to handle another player’s attempt
If another diver targets the same fish, remember that the game gives one player the trophy. You can continue the contest when that creature is the catch you want, or choose a different manageable target when finishing a collection task matters more than the rivalry.
Do not turn an assumed firing order into a guaranteed steal strategy. Concentrate on the capture you can perform and accept the completed outcome before selecting the next fish. If repeated contests distract from the goal, the next useful change can simply be returning attention to an ordinary catch instead of spending the whole dive following the same opponent.
Give the landed fish its next role
After a successful capture, choose whether the result serves the index, the aquarium or another task you were pursuing. On PC, the tutorial uses Space to return to the surface and continue the island loop. Bringing the catch home gives the monster attempt a finish beyond an exciting hit or a busy reel.
For a pet-development goal, continue with fish evolution. For another missing species, return to the index and pick the next target that fits your reachable water. A failed attempt can also suggest a useful next action: work on access when the target remains out of reach, or practice the pull when reaching the fish is already settled. Keep the choice attached to the part of the attempt you want to improve.
